If you deliver a Pure load, which is a load with no deductions or advances and you submit Pure paperwork, which is all copies of the paperwork legible to bill with. Most factoring companies offer non-recourse, which protects you against debtor (customer) bankruptcy. What they don’t tell you is that bankruptcy doesn’t happen overnight. It is something that takes months or years to happen. Most factoring companies only allow an invoice to age 60 or 90 days. If your customer does not declare bankruptcy within this 60 or 90 day window, most factoring companies will still come after you for an unpaid invoice (chargeback or buyback).
